Poppies and wheat fields, multiple takes
This was my first choice for a while.
I like the way the background is out of focus in this second shot, but then my point was to also highlight the wheat, so that's why I eliminated it.
What I like about the third photo is how the flower is lit from the back and it's face on.

The obligatory cow post, take III

The cows I've encountered have been inquisitive creatures. As I was photographing this group, these three stopped eating and started to walk over to me. I fled the scene!
